In my life, I have found that people can be broken into two categories, those that resonate with these questions, and those that don’t: Everything changes so quickly doesn’t it? A few years ago, were you a different person to today? Do you feel like every few years you find yourself looking at life totally different to how you once did?

When it comes to change, I can’t help but recite Jim Rohn when he quoted his mentor Earl Shoaff in saying “If you will change, everything will change for you.” Jim then aptly added, “Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better… Don’t wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom.”

When we look at those questions again and think of our own circumstances, it’s easy to see that you are just changing faster than everything around you, everything doesn’t change quickly. You are a different person because you became better, and gained wisdom to overcome challenges. With that wisdom, your eyes see life with sharper clarity and a focus for different details.

The clarity I have found has allowed me to focus on the pursuit of progress. My goal is to be the best study of Matt Gall, to always grow my strengths and understand my limitations, yet this study seems to be a never-ending one. For each strength I earn, a new limitation I find, and the more the knowledge I acquire the more I understand how little I know.

In my body beats the heart of a strategist, commanding an army of 100 billion neurons, standing ready to fire, constantly looking for opportunities to seize victory.
